Nine Practical Parent Expectations

  1. Greet your son each day as if he is the most important part of your life.

    • Note: All boys have a strong desire to be Known & Loved. Don’t be fooled by how close they keep their cards to their chest. And remember...it is always important to separate the behaviour from the person.

  2. Show you are interested.

    • Note: Always ask the questions but don’t always expect an answer.  Take an interest with what is happening at school.

  3. Communicate, communicate and communicate

    • Note: We prefer to be evaluated on a day to day basis.  Simply put, are we fulfilling our Vision and Mission?

  4. Promote literacy.

  5. Recognize effort.

    • Note: Recognizing effort has a greater impact than recognizing achievement.

  6. Promote the French language and culture.

  7. Understand the value of failure

  8. Remember – you are your son’s most important role model.

  9. Ask yourself – What really matters?
